Ranjita Sengupta, MD, FACC, FASE, FASNC, RPVI, attended the University of Calcutta in India, and received her medical degree in 1999. Then, she relocated to the United States, where she served her internal medicine internship and residency at the University of Connecticut, where she was named Best Resident of the year (2004) and Outstanding Intern of the Year (2002). In addition, she completed her fellowship training in cardiology at Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Heart Institute, Houston, TX (2004-2007), where she was honored with the Van Reet Award. Dr. Sengupta received board certification in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine.
